William P. Harrington Speaks at Westchester County Association’s Women in Tech Luncheon
Firm Chairman William P. Harrington spoke at the 4th Annual Women in Tech Luncheon, presented by the Westchester County Association on June 22 at the Tappan Hill Mansion in Tarrytown. The luncheon recognizes the accomplishments of women in life sciences, technology, and innovation in Westchester, demonstrating the WCA’s commitment to encouraging women to enter STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) careers.
In his remarks, Mr. Harrington noted that Westchester County is emerging as a significant biotech and health tech hub, and the region is gaining a reputation as a growing, world-class hub of innovation, research and entrepreneurship. Mr. Harrington is Chairman of the Westchester County Association.
The honorees were Jaime Fabricant, Senior Marketing Manager, Cultural Foresights & Innovation at Pepsi Beverages North America; Jeannine Haggerty, General Manger of Con Edison’s Bronx and Westchester Electric Operations; Merin Joseph, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of WESTMED Practice Partners and WESTMED Medical Group; and Julie Roche CEO, co-founder, and head of product technology for Burbio.com.
