Partner Frances Pantaleo Speaking at the Elder Law Committee of the Fairfield County Bar Association
On June 28th, Bleakley Platt Partner Frances Pantaleo will co-present a CLE program titled “Medicaid Planning in Connecticut and New York: Neighboring States, Drastically Different Laws,” at the Fairfield County Bar Association. Topics will include a comparison of basic Medicaid eligibility rules in each state, spousal planning issues and interstate planning options. Ms. Pantaleo will discuss New York Medicaid law, and her co-presenter Joel D. Muhlbaum will discuss Connecticut Medicaid law.
Ms. Pantaleo is the head of the Elder Law practice group at Bleakley Platt and a member of the Trusts and Estates Practice Group. She handles a broad range of matters with an emphasis on Elder Law, special needs planning, guardianship proceedings and drafting and administration of special needs trusts.
A former Chair of the Elder Law and Special Needs Section of the New York State Bar Association, Ms. Pantaleo is a member of the Trusts and Estates Section and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). She is a member and has served as past-chair of the Elder Law Committees of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association and the Westchester County Bar Association.
