Partner Mary Ellen Manley Honored by St. John’s University School of Law Alumni Association Westchester Chapter
Mary Ellen Manley was honored in December at the annual holiday luncheon presented by the Westchester Chapter of the St. John’s University School of Law Alumni Association. Ms. Manley was the guest of honor at a well-attended luncheon held at the Westchester Hills Golf Club in White Plains. Guests brought toys that were donated to children served by the St. John’s Parish in Bedford Stuyvesant.
Mary Ellen Manley is presented with a festive St. John’s University School of Law sweatshirt by the Honorable Daniel D. Angiolillo, Vice President of the alumni assiciation, President of the Westchester chapter of the alumni association and former member of the New York State Judiciary, at the holiday luncheon.
As head of the firm’s Trusts and Estates Practice Group, Ms. Manley concentrates in the area of Surrogate’s Court practice. She has substantial estate litigation experience, representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in adversarial proceedings, including will contests, accountings, removal of fiduciaries, will construction or reformation proceedings, fee litigation, determination of right of election, kinship hearings, validity of creditors’ claims and wrongful death compromises.
Ms. Manley is currently Vice President of the Westchester County Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the Westchester County Bar Association and has served as President of the Bar Association. She was a recipient of the “Above the Bar” award as the leading trusts and estates attorney in Westchester County, and has been named to the Super Lawyers list as a top rated estate and trust litigation attorney in the New York Metro area.
