Partner Frances Pantaleo and Associate Elizabeth Briand Co-Present CLE for Legal Services of the Hudson Valley
On February 8, 2017, Partner Frances M. Pantaleo and Associate Elizabeth C. Briand will co-present a free CLE program on the preparation and submission of Medicaid home care applications to the attorneys of Legal Services of the Hudson Valley at their White Plains, New York location. Ms. Pantaleo and Ms. Briand will discuss the intricacies of Medicaid eligibility rules, the application process itself, and the advocacy that is often required in connection with seeking Medicaid home care services.
Bleakley Platt is proud of its support of Legal Services of the Hudson Valley (LSHV). Ms. Pantaleo serves on the annual dinner committee of LSHV and will be joining its Board of Directors in April. In 2007, Ms. Pantaleo was presented with a Partners in Justice Award by LSHV in recognition of pro bono services she has rendered to the organization and its clients.
Ms. Pantaleo is the head of the Elder Law Practice group at Bleakley Platt and a member of the Trusts and Estates Practice Group. Ms. Briand is a member of the Elder Law and Trusts and Estates Practice Groups. Ms. Pantaleo and Ms. Briand handle matters relating to Elder Law, Estate Planning and Estate Administration, Medicare and Medicaid benefits, guardianship proceedings under Article 81 of the Mental Hygiene Law and Article 17A of the Surrogate’s Court Procedure Act, and the drafting and administration of special needs trusts.
