Bleakley Platt helped launch the Westchester Biotech Project by sponsoring the Innovation in Research Symposium at Fordham University’s Westchester New York campus on October 26, 2017. The Biotech Project seeks to connect researchers, engineers, data scientists and other professionals engaged in the biotechnology field to promote the development and growth of Westchester County’s biotechnology cluster.
Bleakley Platt associate Zachary B. Cohen served as the moderator for a session on “Regional Resources for Clinical Research.” The panel featured Gary E. Gibson, Ph.D., Professor of Neuroscience at Weill Cornell Medicine and Director of Laboratory at the Burke Medical Research Institute, Amy Weinberg, DNP, Associate Director of Medical Sciences at Gilead Sciences and Christina Brennan, MD, Vice President of Clinical Research at Northwell Health.
Zachary Cohen is an associate in the Firm’s Health Care, Corporate and Information Technology and Cybersecurity Groups. He advises clients on a host of business, regulatory and transactional matters and is experienced in representing clients in the information technology and health care industries on cybersecurity law and HIPAA matters.
