William P. Harrington Co-Chairs 29th Annual Westchester Fund Breakfast to Provide Scholarships for Children in Westchester Catholic Schools
Firm Chairman William P. Harrington served as co-chair of the 29th Annual Westchester County Inner City Scholarship Fund Breakfast on June 8, 2016 at Westchester Country Club. His Eminence Timothy Michael Dolan, Archbishop of New York, spoke at the breakfast about the important role the Inner City Scholarship Fund plays in helping children of all faiths from families living below the federal poverty line to attend Catholic schools. 99% of seniors attending Catholic high schools graduate and 98% go on to college.
Mr. Harrington is a trustee of St. Joseph’s Seminary, a member of the New York Archdiocese Finance Committee and a long-time supporter of the Inner City Scholarship Fund. Proceeds from the breakfast, an annual event begun in 1987 by John Cardinal O’Connor, have provided scholarships to thousands of underserved children in Westchester County to attend local Catholic schools.
