Partner Janet Linn held a leadership role at the annual meeting of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Section of the New York State Bar Association on January 28 in New York City. Ms. Linn, a member of the Executive Committee of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Law Section, also serves as co-chair of the drug committee and is a member of the biologics committee.
Ms. Linn moderated a panel discussion at the annual meeting titled “Legal Developments During 2015: Expanding Federal and State Antitrust Enforcement Against Drug Companies, Shrinking Patent Protection in the Life Science Area, and Amarin v. FDA: FDA Regulation of Off Label Marketing.” She spoke about recent decisions on obtaining approval for biosimilars and patenting in the life sciences.
