Bleakley Platt Partner William H. Mulligan, Jr. To Be Inducted Into Fordham Preparatory School Hall of Honor
Bleakley Platt is pleased to announce that Partner William H. Mulligan, Jr. will be inducted into the Fordham Preparatory School Hall of Honor on November 17 at a dinner at The New York Botanical Garden, Bronx, New York. Of the 100 nominations submitted, fourteen alumni were selected for this honor.
The Fordham Prep Hall of Honor was created to recognize illustrious individuals from the school’s long and rich history who have made outstanding contributions to Fordham Prep or to perpetuate the memory of those who have brought distinction and honor to Fordham Prep in their endeavors. Founded in 1841, members of the Fordham Prep family have distinguished themselves in various fields, and include men and women from all walks of life.
A member of the class of 1966, Mr. Mulligan attended Fordham Prep School, Fordham University and Fordham School of Law. His father, William H. Mulligan, was dean of the Fordham University School of Law. Mr. Mulligan’s two sons, William and Rory, are also graduates of Fordham Prep.
Mr. Mulligan is a member of the Litigation and Intellectual Property practice groups. He represents corporate and individual clients in commercial law, trusts and estates litigation, defamation, employment discrimination and sexual harassment matters. Based on his extensive experience in all areas of civil litigation, including trials and appeals in federal and state courts, Mr. Mulligan has represented major institutions, private companies, and individuals in a variety of matters, including, in addition to the areas listed above, patent litigation against the United States and securities litigation.
