Biography
Mr. Altheimer is an experienced litigation attorney with a diverse background in civil litigation, arbitration, and legal research. He has represented clients in matters involving unfair and deceptive trade practices, unjust enrichment, fraud, civil obstruction of justice, and trust property disputes, handling tasks such as securing injunctions, drafting dispositive motions, and managing discovery.
His judicial experience includes clerking for a state supreme court justice, where he prepared bench memos, opinions, and dissents, and drafted urgent action memos. He has also interned at the appellate level, attending numerous hearings and drafting judicial opinions and memoranda.
Mr. Altheimer has also contributed to legal scholarship and civil rights education through his work with academic institutions, leading discussions on civil rights and supporting public interest initiatives. His legal training includes externships and summer associate roles where he drafted substantive pleadings, motions, and memoranda on complex legal issues, including federal preemption and fraudulent transfers.
