The Insurance Law Practice Group provides counseling and representation in: 

• Insurance Defense
• Coverage Analysis
• Risk Management
• Insurance Recovery and Subrogation

We concentrate in insurance defense and coverage, primarily of policyholders of insurance industry clients in product liability, toxic tort, environmental, general liability, and life, health and disability litigation. In addition, we counsel clients on coverage issues and litigate declaratory judgment actions relating to coverage.

We provide a full range of claims litigation and settlement services, including comprehensive insurance archeology audits to locate applicable coverage and to identify effective approaches for recovery. Each attorney in the Insurance Law Practice Group is experienced in advising clients on managing risk and maximizing returns.

We advise on current and historical insurance programs, including the negotiation of coverage for known liabilities, environmental and otherwise, in connection with corporate and real estate transactions. We work closely with insurance brokers, carriers and third party administrators, and are fully familiar with the negotiation of policies.

Our Group works in conjunction with our Environmental, Litigation, Toxic Tort and Complex Litigation, and Product Liability Practice Groups, and our Group members also belong to one or more of those Practice Groups.
