Biography

Ms. Murphy is a member of our Trusts and Estates Practice Group.

Ms. Murphy has extensive experience in Trusts and Estates administration, representing fiduciaries in the collection and valuation of assets, preparation of federal and New York estate tax returns, distribution of assets, and preparation of judicial accountings and releases and discharges. Ms. Murphy also drafts wills, trusts and other estate planning documents. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has represented fiduciaries in audits of estate and income tax returns before the Internal Revenue Service as well as state taxing authorities.
