Biography

Mr. Bassano is a member of the Firm's Managing Committee and the head of the Firm's Real Estate and Commercial Finance Practice Groups. He is also a member of our Corporate, Health Law, and Labor and Employment Practice Groups. Prior to joining our Firm, Mr. Bassano was Counsel to the New York City firm of Chadbourne & Parke.

Mr. Bassano has more than 20 years experience in real estate, corporate and commercial law, representing sophisticated parties in a broad array of industries including commercial and residential real estate, consumer products, aerospace and defense, media, retail, energy, manufacturing, hotels, and health care.

He regularly represents foreign and domestic financial institutions, pension funds and public and private companies in a wide spectrum of financial transactions, real estate transactions and corporate and commercial matters. His practice includes the acquisition, development, financing, management, and disposition of commercial and industrial properties. Mr. Bassano is also active in the areas of commercial leasing, loan workouts and restructurings.
