Biography

Mr. Glatthaar is a member of the Firm's Managing Committee and Commercial Finance and Real Estate Practice Groups. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Glatthaar was General Counsel of Lincoln First Realty. Previously, he was a name partner in the firm McCarthy Fingar Donovan Glatthaar Drazen & Smith in White Plains, New York. His career began in the Commercial Finance Division of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.

Mr. Glatthaar has over 50 years experience in representing banks, insurance companies and many other institutional lenders in a wide variety of real estate and complex secured lending transactions. He represents real estate clients in connection with the negotiation and drafting of ground leases, building leases, space leases and subleases. In addition, he also represents purchasers or sellers in transactions involving shopping centers, office buildings, apartment projects, vacant land, nursing homes and assisted living facilities, and other real estate interests. With respect to these transactions, Mr. Glatthaar advises clients in due diligence, acquisition, financial structure, drafting and reviewing documents and doing all things necessary to close the transaction.
