Biography
Mr. Hannigan is the head of our Product Liability Practice Group,
and a member of the Firm's Litigation and Toxic Tort/Complex Litigation
Practice Groups, as well as co-chair of our Construction Law Practice Group. From 1976 to 1984, Mr. Hannigan was a federal (Southern
District of New York) and New York City (Manhattan District Attorney's
Office) prosecutor. During that time, he prosecuted antitrust, organized
crime and major felony cases.
Mr. Hannigan has acted as lead trial counsel in significant product liability, employment and commercial litigation cases tried to verdict. His present practice includes the representation of a wide array of major corporations in litigated matters, including serving as national and regional coordinating counsel for several large corporate clients. Mr. Hannigan also represents clients in labor law litigation including wage/hour and employment discrimination matters.

Mr. Hannigan is a member of the Product Liability Advisory Council (PLAC), and has been Chairman of the Commercial Transportation Litigation Committee of the Torts and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) of the American Bar Association.
